Painting on Pillows

We have a big family: me, my husband David, our three naughty children – twin brothers Kevin and Adam, they are five, and Alex, he is sixteen, my mother, my younger brother Eric and our big dog, also known as Lord. We all live in the same house and this is a big trouble. It looks like a madhouse. There is no quite there. Every have their own problems. Alex brings his friends, Eric brings his girlfriends, and Lord barks and asks to play with him. But the most trouble brings to us Kevin and Adam. They run and shout every time and my mother runs after them trying to calm them down. They are so naughty. Only I look aside – they broke or damaged something already. The most they like is painting. On the first view it seems a usual hobby. But they don’t like painting on paper, they prefer to paint a big pictures. For this purpose they take my bedding: pillows and bedsheets. They take out the filler from pillows and do their pictures. When I saw it at first time, I was shocked. But I thought that it is a little pranks and that it was the last time. But I was mistake. I didn’t punish them at once and it came into their habit. I didn’t know what to do. I hide all bedsheets, especially the most expensive. But they found another way. They painted all bedding right on our bed: pillows, comforter, and bedsheet. A have no choice and I punished them strictly that they won’t do such thing next time. But there wasn’t effect.
I decided to sign them up to the art school. I wanted to direct their talent in a right channel. I was hope they will paint there, leave all their power at school and at home they will the usual Kevin and Adam. And my plan worked. It was a break in their plan to paint my bedclothes. And I was glad to hear about boys’ achievement from the teacher of art. I’m sure they will be greatest painters.
