Types of Filler


   There are two types of pillows and comforters filler: natural and synthetic. The basic natural fillers are down and feather, wool, cotton and bamboo filament. The warmest are the down and feather. Down bedding is ideally suited for the people who have strong necessity in heating, thanks to medical properties of filler. Nevertheless down comforters have some disadvantages:
– It is counter – indicative to the people who suffering from an allergy;
– It can't be laundering;
– Comforters with such filler are the most expensive.
   Comforters from wool are very popular. They are thin and light and can perfectly warm even at strong frosts. Wool filler is hearty for people’s organism, stimulates a blood circulation, and has a good influence on skin. Bedding with woolen filler is recommended to the people suffering from a chronic bronchitis, a radiculitis, an osteochondrosis and other diseases of support – locomotion system. But, unfortunately, wool is allergen too and is counter – indicative to many people.
   One more natural filler is cotton. It is easy, elastic, and absorbs moisture, and during the closeness there is a good microclimate.
   The filler such as bamboo filament became an innovation in textile manufacture of 21 centuries. It is softer than the softest cotton, possesses natural antimicrobic properties and regulates temperature of the body.
Synthetic fillers are a padding polyester, polyester and latex. They have the same features as natural fillers, but they are anallergic. They are not suitable for pillows. They successfully combine heat – reflecting and air properties. Unlike down and wool fillers, the synthetic filler doesn't absorb an outside smells. They are very light, hygienic and anallergic. It is much easier to take care after them – they can be laundering.
   Also comforters are filled with silk filament. It is comforters of premium class. There is no material as silk, which has such many pluses. This filler is anallergic and doesn't attract a dust. Making silk comforters is used hand work and minimum chemical compounds. It is soft, light and elastic. It can serve you for a long time. Sometimes silk are combined with other natural materials for example, with cashmere or wool. Such comforters, as a rule, combine the useful properties of both fillers.
